Susiee Guide: A Comprehensive Resource on ECEC Practices

The Susiee Guide offers an in-depth look at intercultural and sustainable ECEC practices, along with an analysis of legislation and curricula. It contains:

  • Introductory Text: An overview of the guide's purpose and content.

  • Conceptualizations: Key concepts and theories related to intercultural and sustainable ECEC.

  • Best Practices: Examples of successful practices implemented in various settings.

  • Content Analysis: Detailed analysis of current legislation and curricula.

Susiee Handbook: A Toolkit for Educators and Professionals

The Susiee Handbook provides an accessible toolkit designed to help educators and professionals promote sustainability in multicultural contexts. It includes:

  • Introductory Text: Background information and objectives of the handbook.

  • Theoretical Framework: Foundations for understanding and implementing the Susiee method.

  • Foundations for GreenComp: Guidelines for addressing the GreenComp competence areas.

  • Workshop Learning Path: A 20-hour workshop with 10 activities for educators and professionals, aimed at integrating sustainability and interculturality into the ECEC curriculum.

Susiee Digital Platform: Supporting Families with 0-3 Children

The Susiee Digital Platform is designed to support families with young children, offering resources and guidelines from an intercultural and sustainable perspective. The platform integrates Google Translate to assist families with linguistic difficulties and provides:

  • Positive Parenting Guidelines: Resources to support effective parenting practices.

  • Home-to-ECEC Transition: Guidelines to help families transition their children smoothly into ECEC.

  • Accompanying the Child in ECEC: Tips and resources to support children in their ECEC journey.

  • Professional Support Groups: Access to professional-led support groups on WhatsApp.

  • Peer-to-Peer Support Groups: Access to peer-to-peer support groups on WhatsApp for both families and professionals.

These comprehensive resources from the Susiee Project are designed to foster a more sustainable and inclusive approach to early childhood education and care, benefiting educators, professionals, and families alike. All resources will be available for download very soon!
